Located on the southern shore of the island, the Grant camp consists of two cottages on the water, each with its own view and dock and canoe, both flanked by trees and shrubs that enhance privacy. It is an ideal spot for families vacationing together who would like to be near each other but still have their own space.
Grant Porch is a shingled cottage that offers the feeling of Taconnet in the old days yet has been renovated for the modern era. Inside you have a cozy living room with vintage bamboo furniture, small kitchen area, airy master bedroom with queen size bed, plus two rooms off the living room that can sleep three. Panoramic views may lead you to spend hours on the wraparound porch.
Another old-style shingled cottage, Grant Deck has a spacious deck that is a favorite for family gatherings. Inside, you'll enjoy a cheerful pine-paneled living room, master bedroom with queen bed, small kitchen, and bathroom with shower. There is a sleep loft (for older children only), and a pullout couch in the living room may also be used.
