This cottage is beautifully situated on the southeast corner of Taconnet, a secluded and quiet place with spectacular views of Hoyt's and Indian Islands. It gets sun all day, but large trees give shade.
A 24-foot living room with cathedral ceiling has large glass doors and windows that make the cottage light and spacious. It opens to a wrap-around deck, and has a raised brick hearth with wood stove. There is a kitchen area with sink and small refrigerator. One bedroom has a queen bed, a second has a full bed, and a sleeping loft has three twin beds. There are also two twin beds in a detached small bunkhouse.
The dock is L-shaped, with two kayaks and two canoes. A small pebble beach is safe and attractive for little children. A hammock invites you to look up at the largest white pine on the island.
